MDCCC Parent Newsletter January 2012
Happy New Year –
We will be closed Jan. 2. If bad weather comes, we will be closed if the school is closed. I'll inform the news stations of our closing also. No tuition refunds are made for snow days as stated in the parent handbook. Next day we will be closed is Good Friday, April 6.
New Rates effective Jan. 1 -
Infants will be $185 weekly, toddlers $160 weekly, and preschoolers $140 weekly. If you use internet banking, you'll need to sign a new form in the office. If your account has not changed, we don't need a voided check. The board intends to increase the rates yearly starting in August with the beginning of school.
Christmas Program for MDCCC
– Our Christmas program was Wonderful! Enjoy the photos I took that are in the lobby on the door. Thank you to all the staff who practiced over and over with the children and helped them make the props and some costumes. Thank you for celebrating at the center with each class. The gifts we have received are truly appreciated! We have the best parents!

Soldiers' Box for Military - It was a super hit! Had many donations from people who saw the article in the Cap Journal.
We were asked to do it again next year. We even received cash for postage to ship it overseas. The military mom here sent it. A thank you was put in the Cap Journal to the donors.
Jesus Time – Jan. 17, 9 AM, in church with guest reader, Evelyn Ibrahim. The young preschoolers will attend.
TSCP Librarian will be here Jan. 25, 9 AM. (This is a new date.)
Remember to sign in and out each day.
Remember to mark all things with your name that come into the building. It saves headaches when trying to find something or
matching things with the proper owner.
Infant room news – We hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas holiday.
Tucker is the oldest infant and he celebrated his birthday last week. He's moving around our room. Soon he'll be trying a
step on his own! Happy 1st Birthday, Tucker!
Kendall loves tummy time. She has figured out that she can be on her tummy and can get herself over to her back. She's
trying to scoot around.
Jeremy is liking tummy time also. He's getting stronger so he can tuck his legs underneath him.
He rolls to his tummy and to his back with help from a friend.
Alayna has decided that it's more fun to be doing anything except sitting up. She likes to try new foods from the menu.
Now that winter is here, please check your child's cubby once a week in order to keep it stocked with extra clothes and socks.
Please bring a coat, sweater, or sweatshirt for your child, so we're ready for fire drills at the end of the month. Happy New Year! Natalie, Maggie, Gracie, Jeannette
