MATER DEI EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTER (CHILD CARE)  Sponsored by Mater Dei Parish, the goal of the Center is to provide Catholic values in a warm, caring environment, that allows your child to develop as a unique individual. Your child's needs.....social, emotional, intellectual, and physical....can best be met in an atmosphere of nurturing and creative learning.

Mater Dei ECDC exists to serve the parishioners of Mater Dei.  Registered families of Mater Dei will be given preference on the center's waiting list and accepted first when there are openings.

The Center is available to serve families with children 6 weeks to 12 years, with before and after school care available. Summer camp is available to school age children who have completed kindergarten through 12 years of age.

The Center is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  It is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, the Friday before Labor Day and Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Other holidays will be announced at the beginning of each year. When the date of the holiday is on a weekend, the center will follow the day observed nationally.

Enrollment forms are available at the Center's office. These forms must be completed by the parents and returned to the Center prior to admission. The Holy Name Early Childhood Development Center is licensed by the State of Kansas, and therefore, has specific guidelines to be met for proper enrollment.

Parents' participation and questions are always welcome. You will be kept up to date on your youngster's activities through daily conversations with teachers, personal notes, and newsletters. You are welcome at the Center any time you want to visit....mothers can continue to nurse their infants, and parents can pop in for lunch to say "hi", etc. You are encouraged to tell us about your child's personality, special needs, and talents.
